A Mino kokujin. After serving the Saitō, he submitted to Nobunaga and with Ujiie Bokuzen and Andō Morinari became one of the "Three Men of Mino." His stubborn nature is said to be the origin of the expression ganko ittetsu. He held his lands into the Hideyoshi regime.
