A foster brother of Nobunaga who served close to him from youth. At the Kiyosu Conference he was one of the elders supporting Hidenaga Sanbōshi, and serving on Hideyoshi's side in the Komaki-Nagakute campaign he was killed by Tokugawa forces at Nagakute.
