生涯
Eldest son of Kaneie. Became Kampaku in 990 and made his daughter Teishi consort of Emperor Ichijō. With his lavish residence and cheerful temperament he built the prosperity of the "Naka no Kampaku" house, but died at 43 from diabetes.
